Terms of use

Last updated: 2026-09-23

These terms govern the use of Firstview ("the platform"), operated by LOGOS ECOM LLC, 175 SW 7th Street, STE 1517-1000, Ste R, Miami, FL 33130, United States. By using the platform you accept them.

1. The service

The platform lets the owner of a Shopify store record and read its financial results (Profit Sheet, Daily ROAS, refunds, disputes) and connect third-party services to bring those numbers in. Accounts that are managed by an organisation have a manager who follows the stores in their portfolio, and use the extra features that come with being managed. Creating an account is open to anyone, and installing from the Shopify App Store creates one.

2. Accounts

  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for everything done with your account.
  • You may share your account with a business partner through the platform's own sharing feature; you remain responsible for their use.
  • We may suspend or remove an account that breaches these terms, the rules of the organisation that manages it where they apply, or the law.

3. Third-party integrations

  • You decide which accounts to connect (Shopify, Meta Ads, Google Ads, PayPal, Stripe). You must be authorised to connect them.
  • The platform reads only the data and permissions listed in the privacy policy and writes to a third-party service only when you explicitly confirm an action (for example, submitting dispute evidence).
  • Your use of each service remains subject to that service's own terms. We are not responsible for changes, outages or decisions of those services, including the outcome of a dispute.
  • You can disconnect any integration at any time; the stored credential is deleted.

4. Your data and content

You own the data you enter and the files you upload. You grant us the licence needed to store, process and display them to you and, if your account has one, your manager, and to submit what you ask us to submit. Our handling of personal data is described in the privacy policy.

5. Data protection (customer data)

When you connect a store, the platform reads data about your customers' orders on your behalf. For that data you are the controller and we are your processor. This section is the data processing agreement between us.

  • We process customer personal data only to provide the features you use, on your documented instructions, and never for our own purposes, advertising or model training.
  • What we process: order totals and dates, the payment gateway, the shipping country, and — for the orders the platform mirrors — the customer's name, email and phone, so you can handle fulfilment and support. For a dispute defence, and only when you build one, the full order file including addresses and IP.
  • Retention: the customer name, email and phone are erased from mirrored orders after 180 days. Dispute files are kept while the dispute can still be decided against you.
  • Security: data is encrypted in transit and at rest, integration credentials are encrypted with a key held only by the server, and access to customer personal data is logged.
  • Sub-processors: our hosting and database providers, listed in the privacy policy. We stay responsible for them.
  • Erasure: Shopify's privacy webhooks are honoured automatically — a customer redaction request erases that customer's name, email, phone and address from your store's data within the platform, and a shop redaction erases the mirrored orders and cases entirely.
  • Your instructions: text you write yourself in cases and notes is yours. We do not read it to redact it — if a customer asks you to erase something you wrote, you do it, or you ask us and we do it.
  • On termination: you can export your own records at any time, and we delete your data within 30 days of the account being deleted, except what the law requires us to keep.

6. Acceptable use

  • No attempts to access other accounts or to circumvent access controls.
  • No automated scraping of the platform.
  • No uploading of content you have no right to use, or of malicious files.
  • No use of the platform to deceive a payment processor or a bank.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features; material changes are announced inside the platform.

8. No financial or legal advice

The metrics, alerts, playbooks and generated letters are tools to support your decisions. They are not financial, legal or tax advice, and they do not guarantee the outcome of any dispute or the accuracy of data received from third parties.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, loss of profit, or losses arising from third-party services, data you entered, or decisions you took using the platform. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Termination

You can stop using the platform at any time and ask for your account to be deleted (see the data deletion page). For programme accounts, access may end when participation in the programme ends; for other accounts, when the agreement with us ends.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Disputes are submitted to the state and federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rules of your country of residence.
